Interesting Dae at the SPCA

As usual, pat and I are back at the spca on sundae!! We were just guessing whether the 2 retriever dogs that we saw last week would be adopted, as such breeds are pretty expensive and precious... however, as expected, I always win the bet! hahahaha..=p Yes, as I expected, the 2 retrievers were gone as we walked past the row of cages.. =( kinda sad for me, or rather should I feel happy for them for their new owners in new houses! Feeling happy or anguish, I really just hope that those dogs which were adopted had relish their happiness and freedom given by their new 'parents'... I would hate to see, if there is such a day, the adpoted dog would ever come back to spca again. *May all animal lovers cherish every single moment with your beloved pets for you'll never know that maybe you're seeing them for the last time...

Okay, back to the main topic, haha.. I saw a siberian husky dog!! wow!! It was just fantastic, wonderful, just simply great!! woo! I just have a strong liking for big dogs! haha.. it was so huge, the fur was thick and all soft, with some occasional grey patches of fur! The "No Entry" sign was hung outside the cage as expected, and I knew I could go in because I learned that the sign was put up to warn small children off the big dog which may hit and cause them to fall down.. hehe, I kept telling pat I will go in because I really like big dogs, but she had a phobia sustained 2 weeks ago from a huge rottweiler which gave her some souvenirs on her leg...lol..

Soon, we asked the female volunteer (who was rather big in size, and friendly!), about the stats of the husky dog. I asked if he likes to rough play which will be rather scary for some people and she said "yep". And I found out from her that he was even stronger than the rottweiler!! eek! I began to think twice before going in, for a moment. But, why should I be afraid of the husky? haha! She opened the cage and the very strong husky tried to force its way out while she used up lotsa strength to push it back in so that I could enter! I can see that she really uses lot's of energy! As I closed the door behind me, the husky pounced on me and began pushing, whacking me with his head, and tries to play with me with some rough bites on my hand and leg! I thought to myself, this is fun! But, such play is seriously not reccomended for some people because once you show that you're afraid and you panick, you're in for some stuff from the husky! haha!! Don't forget they can feel what we humans are feeling too! wahaha... =)

Next, after getting into a big mess with the husky, I got into another cage, this time it's a pretty innocent looking brown dog called Buffy. He looks real adorable and nice. I decided to go in, haha, after some persuasion from pat to ask me to go in first o.o I took a brave step in, only to realise it was too late. This dog, is, freaking me out!! He plays 10 times more rough that the husky!! ouch! lol! He bites my hand, scratch and pull my pants, bites my shirt, bites and hold on to my ankle real hard and anywhere where he can bite! haha!, so fun! although it freaked me out initially, but it was just trying to play after all.. well, another playful boi.. haha.. After some tussle with him, I realised I was panting!! lol! he was really a hardy boi! oh ya! one more thing, pat kept calling the volunteer over there cause she thought I was in some real pain after observing some harsh bites from Buffy. The volunteer came twice but I kept saying "It's okay, he just wants to play" haha! (I can see pat's worried expression! O.o)

Time to stop playing Buffy! I stood up but it clung on to my ankle with his sharp canine teeth, I dragged and then the volunteer came with a stern voice telling buffy to stop it and sit down. haha, and he listened to her! was quite amazed though.. lol. Then I took a quick glance at my hands and legs, and well, this Buffy gave me some souvenirs too, over 12 scratches on both my hands, a cut on my leg (of course it's bleeding with that nasty cut), and a cute lil hole made by his another canine tooth! I look like I had just came out of some warfare with some cats or something, lol... but it was fun though, and I promised pat that I would go in again if he isn's being adopted by the following week! haha!

Feeling real high after receiving those memorable souvenirs from Alfie (husky) and Buffy, I left the spca and looking forward to the next visit.. ;p

Tale Of The Twisted Ankle

It all started with a long sleep from 2.30am to 10.30am this morning.. I woke up totally confused and stoned. What am I supposed to do? I couldn't recall what did I planned the night before for this morning. With my body well supported with both my hands on the bed, I slowly shifted my butt off the bed and almost instantly, a sharp deep pain from my left leg alerted me of my twisted ankle which I've sustained the day before.

Delicately and slowly, I lifted my ankle off the bed and I limped to the washroom. With the left foot lifted off the cool marble flooring, I hopped whenever I needed to go somewhere in my house. This is sick. Walking would be at least 3 times slower than hopping!

After all the stuff that I've to settle in the morning, I went straight for the The Straits Time which was on the sofa already. As I flipped and read through, my mom woke up and asked me if I was ready to go to the doctor. Dazzled by what she said, I immediately remembered that I am supposed to go to the doctor today for a check-up cum treatment on my seemingly swollen ankle! With the ceiling fan operating at high speed, the flimsy pages of the newspaper began going out of place and I went through the remaining pages as quickly as I could.

20 minutes down town, went to medical hall and took a queue number. Following that, I went upstairs and took my breakfast and I messaged my best bud, weekian. Well, he was with chee kong at causeway point, went for phone servicing again. lol..

I waited for close to 1 hour before I get to my turn to go in, the auntie gave me a basin of boiling medicated solution and ask me to rest my foot on top of the solution, with a plastic sheet covering my whole foot. From what I see, I can see that the solution was to sterilise the foot, before any other form of medications can be applied onto. Soon, I was attended to and I describe to him everything that led to the injury. Skillfully, the veteran chinese doctor applied some brewed medication and bandaged it up firmly. Feeling satisfied, I smiled and kept saying Thank You on my way out (haha).. =)

Reach home at about 3pm, alone again, I couldn't walk much and thus I settled on a chair - in front of my computer. Well, wee kian wasn't back home yet I guessed, so I had no other friends to talk rubbish with. I played some games, watched tv, and did some maths. Everything was really bad and yet I couldn't do anything about.

At about 6pm, my mom called and said she wouldn't be back on time and asked me to settle my dinner myself. I thought to myself, dinner? I decided on maggie mee again since I couldn't walk all the way to the nearest food court. As I cooked, I realised that the water I added is way too much (again), and I had to bear with the very diluted soup of the mee. I watched soccer on EPL after my dinner and felt really bored and stupid.

I watched a movie on HBO after the soccer and felt better (for once) today. =p 11.40pm. My mom came home and as usual, we don't talk much as she headed for the bedroom. I continued with this entry of my blog with sounds from the television blasted across the living room.. Feeling real moody right now, I seriously think that I am completely lost at things to do.

Well, I should go off now to check out on my bandage! ='/ what a day after a bad injury that I incurred. lol.. I think I should go do some serious stuff now! See ya folks! =]

Funny friend and Me.

I am back! (read the previous blog before reading this) haha! Can't get to sleep though.. came back for another blogging entry. lol.. =) this completely describes how I am feeling right now...

In the quiet time of evening
When the stars assume their patterns
And the day has made his journey
And we wondered just what happened
To the life we knew before the world changed
When not a thing I held was true
But you were kind to me and you reminded me
That the world is not my playground
There are other things that matter
And when a simple needs protecting
My illusions all would shatter
But you stayed in my corner
The only world I know was upside down
And now the world and me, I know you carry me

You see the patterns in the big sky
Those constellations look like you and I
Just like the patterns in the big sky
We could be lost we could refuse to try
But we made it through in the dark night
Would those lucky guys turn out to be
But that unusual blend of my funny friend and me

I'm not as clever as I thought I was
I'm not the boy I used to be because
You showed me something different, you showed me something pure
I always seemed so certain but I was really never sure
But you stayed and you called my name
When others would have walked out on a lousy game
And you could've made it through
But your funny friend and me

You see the patterns in the big sky
Those constellations look like you and I
That tiny planet in a bigger guy
I don't know whether I should laugh or cry
Just like the patterns in the big sky
We'll be together till the end is nigh
Don't know the answer or the reason why
We'll stick together till the day we die
If I had to do this all a second time
I won't complain or make a fuss
When the angels sing that that unlikely blend
Are those two funny friends
That's us

Bad Hair Day

"Soccer tomorrow at 8? sure!" I exclaimed over the phone the night before. I am going to meet up with some old buddies from my secondary school! Yeppie!

Next day, which was this morning, I met up with them at 8, and as usual I was late for 10 minutes. doh.. haha! But nevertheless, we chatted for about half an hour on the problems my friends encountered when working at the F&N factory! hahaha! It was so funny! lol.. After which, we changed into our soccer boots and started some light warm up by stretching and passing the ball around. Everything was fine until...

...I received a fantastic low pass from my friend and as I tried to handle the ball in some kind of fashion, I supported my body with my left foot behind me. At the moment I stepped back, a crack sound was heard and the next moment I knew was I jumped and hopped on the field. I collapsed and seized my left ankle with both hands and the pain was unbearable. At first I thought it was no big deal and I can go back to play once I've massaged it well enough, but this time was different from any previous injuries I have sustained duing soccer. I couldn't stand up well enough and each step I took was like cutting a piece of flesh from me, one by one. Standing up was one issue, walking is another issue, going home is another issue. But, there was only one thing which pissed me off, I did not blame myself for this injury; instead it was because I only played for less than 10 minutes on the field!!

Well, the thought of playing only 10 minutes just pissed me off. I thought I could polish up my skills today, but who would have thought of such cases to happen? Oh well...in the end, I sat under the sun for about one and a half hours watching them play and me, still clutching on to my ankle.
I went for breakfast with them and the good thing is at least I still can walk, but very painful and slow. I thought it was just a normal sprain and it would be alright in a few days.

Back at home, I applied some ointment and play games on the computer. After which, my dear patricia came to visit me! haha! =) That really made me feel better, lol.. but the pain would be always there at the ankle, that's the thing which is bothering me. She bought something for me and I really didn't expect that! wahaha... well, chatted for some time and .... (not going into details) ... she went home later. With my injured ankle, I could only see her up to my doorstep... hahaha. =p

At about 5, the pain was really excruciating and I decided to take a nap so that I would not feel the pain! haha! woke up at 8 though.. was in a total trance... lol. =/ Finally to sum up the whole day, I waited for my mom finish her work at the office so that she could buy dinner for me. I couldn't walk you see, haha..so the food court was not an option for me to settle my dinner. Guess what, I waited till 11.30pm then she came back. well, dinner time for me! haha... btw, 11.30 considered late for dinner? It's still night time right, so can be considered dinner? or supper? haha!

The pain continues as I headed back to my room... 1.30am. *wonder how I sleep with such pain =x Hope tomorrow would be a better day for me! =) seeing a doctor tomorrow, with a torn ankle ligament.. see ya guys and wish me for an early recovery! =]

Slack Day! =P

Wednesday! Also known as the CCA day in pjc, is a slack day for me! Why? Cos school ends at a freaking early time at 1.30pm! Students and teachers disappear for their respective CCAs, then we, the J1s, get to go home early (our cca haven't start yet)!

As mentioned, today was a relatively easy day for me, with only physics and maths! The other subjects' teacher went sick today after a session about introducing ourselves with us the day before, hahaha!

Then I took out my phone in the classroom, as expected, starhub's reception was so poor that except standing at the gate of pjc, I couldn't get any reception anywhere else! Then I began to move to every corner of my class, hoping to receive any reception from starhub, but only to find M1, and a malaysian network! lol !! What a joke! I went to select that malaysian network and tried to use it on my phone, and when I thought about the overseas bills I have to pay lest someone calls me or msg me, I rather switch to my "No Reception" mode, than the malaysian network! =) so guys out there using starhub, if there's no reception, don use the malaysian network, curse starhub instead. It's FOC and use whenever needed!

Well.. going to eat my dinner now. My ah ma is screaming at me again for still being so stubborn. T_T haha! lol.. okok!! omg! Here she goes again! see ya guys! :p

CK's venture into Blogging!

Yay! I finally created a blog of my own! Although I was laughing at my friends for writing gay blogs yesterday, but I've just gotten a life and realised that blogs ain't gay! It's a perfect place for anything to be written (also for things that can't be written)...

It's kinda late now at 12.20am but I just wish I could complete this pretty small introduction for my blog while listening to a fantastic song sung by Phil Colins - Go The Distance. *Yawn.. with tears in my eyes after a seemingly huge yawn, I checked my MSN contacts, only to realised there are still 30 freaks who are still playing online games and watching TV programmes at this hour. lol..

See ya in my next bloggin time!
